Welcome to Love Your Cat

Welcome to our dedicated online resource all about cats. Please take a moment to look around our website at our various articles for more details on cats, cat illnesses and other important cat health information. We are passionate about cats here and we would like to share all our information and help with you so that you can enjoy a long and happy relationship with your cat or cats.

Worried about your cat?

If you are worried about your cat because of health problems, symptoms or behavioural changes, we are here to help. We provide detailed information and guidance on the signs of cat illnesses to look out for, how to treat ill cats or cats that are in pain, common cat ailments and much more. For everything you need to know about looking after your cat or kitten we can give detailed advice, help and information to help you.

Speak to your Vet!

If you notice any of the signs and symptoms mentioned here on our website you should arrange to see your local vet as soon as possible. It's always better to be safe than sorry and feline health can degenerate rapidly. It's up to us to work out what our cat is trying to say to us and the little symptoms we pick up on will be all the help we get to figure out that something is wrong. Your vet will be able to complete an accurate diagnosis so you can give your feline friend the treatment and care they need. Never self diagnose your cat as the wrong treatment could be fatal.

Help us Grow

It’s not just about caring for your cat, it’s about a complete health reference guide for all your concerns and cat needs. With time, Love your Cat will grow and grow with more articles added every week to help you find the information you need. We currently have several articles on cat care including cat pain relief, pregnant cats and kitten care to help you look after your feline friend but we will also be developing a range of re-homing, awareness, protection, neutering and cat history articles along with some fun activities and guides so watch this space for your complete Love your Cat resource website.

Lost Cats

Unfortunately, many thousands of cats go missing every year and many families never find out what has happened to their beloved pet cat. This can be extremely distressing when you have lost a pet cat. Cats Protection are currently calling for all cat lovers to write to their local MP to support the Early Day Motion which stipulates local authorities must routinely scan domestic pets who have been killed on the roads. This will hopefully help more families cope with the disappearance of their pet. We as cat lovers ourselves also encourage you participate in this endeavour and help cat owners in the UK.
The Golden Rule

If you are absolutely batty on cats you have definitely come to the right place but always remember our one golden rule. If in doubt, give the Vet a shout! It’s always better to be safe than sorry and cats are very fragile creatures so make sure you always talk to your vet about any concerns you may have about your cat.
